Condition Monitoring
Combining powerful hardware with modern software
After taking over the condition monitoring activities of Hainzl in the summer of last year, IBA AG is now introducing the next generation of its condition monitoring system: The new ibaCMS combines powerful hardware with modern software.
With the ibaCMS (condition monitoring system), IBA AG, a leading specialist in high-quality measurement systems for industry and energy, is presenting its completely revised condition monitoring solution after taking over the condition monitoring division of Hainzl in the summer of 2023. The heart of the condition monitoring system is the web-based desktop application ibaCMC for trend analysis, alarm and reporting tasks. It is used by maintenance engineers, users, operators and operators of industrial and production plants to detect damage at an early stage in order to reduce repair costs, reduce the number of unplanned production downtimes and improve the production process itself.
The architecture of the IBA condition monitoring system consists of one or more modular ibaDAQ systems with the iba basic software ibaPDA (Process Data Acquisition) and the new ibaCMC (Condition Monitoring Center), which is based on a modern Angular Framework and HTML5. As a replacement for the discontinued ibaCMU-S, the ibaPDA-based ibaDAQ is available as a condition monitoring device (CM device for short). With this new, flexible system architecture, the possibilities of the monitoring methods and the evaluation algorithms are significantly improved. In this way, the company is meeting the growing demands for future product innovations and further increasing the flexibility of the system in order to be able to adapt it even better to customer requirements.
